Pursue Excellence
We pursue excellence in the big things and the small things. We never stop growing, because we never stop learning, reading, and studying.
We strive for excellence, not Perfection.
Looking to get connected? You’ve found the right place!
We offer many ministries and teams to join here at CLA including an Outreach ministry/team that comes together for special projects/events as needed. As you scroll, you will be able to find out more info to connect with our main ministries. Or you can jump right in and find ways to serve.
Christian Life Assembly serves the Stroudsburg and Pocono Community through service and sharing the love of Christ.
Our diversity reflects our belief that all people need to experience the hope and healing that can only come through Jesus Christ. We provide engaging ministries for all walks of life to reach them with the hope and healing found in Jesus.
Our Ministries
Celebrate Recovery (Monday 7pm)
A program for anyone dealing with life’s hurts, habits and hang-ups. Although Celebrate Recovery does offer help with additions, its not the sole focus of the program. Many people seek help with other life struggles and even codependency through Celebrate Recovery.
Nehemiah Center (Wednesday 9am)
The Nehemiah Center clothing closet provides gently used and good quality free clothing to families and individuals in need.
“Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Doesn’t he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it?”
Luke 15:4 (NIV)
Good Start Academy
We offer preschool education and after school child care available in Monroe County to children ages six weeks to twelve years. Good Start Academy is not about babysitting. Instead, we provide a fun and safe environment that is committed to quality care and the education of your child.
Summit Youth (Wednesday 7pm)
Summit exists to provide students with opportunities to encounter God as well as connect with other students who share the same passion of growing in Christ and community. Summit also exists to equip students with the tools necessary to love the Lord God with all of their heart, soul, mind, and strength and to love their neighbor as themselves. Finally, Summit exists to provide students with opportunities to engage the culture with the Gospel message of Jesus Christ.
Two are better than one,
because they have a good return for their labor:
If either of them falls down,
one can help the other up.
Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 (NIV)
Life Kids (Sunday 11am/Wednesday 7pm)
A program of Bible teaching, songs, and activities geared towards children ages nursery through 6th grade. Kids services are offered in the lower level during our 11:00 AM Sunday morning service and 7PM Wednesday nights.
Life Groups
Life Groups are one of the best ways to get connected here at CLA. At our church, we believe you can't do life alone; that we're better together when we engage our community. We learn in rows, but we grow in circles. Being able to share life with other people is one of the ways that we can reach our God-given potential.
